Jain Vishva Bharati University (JVBU) is a Deemed University that was founded in 1991 with the inspiration of Acharya Tulsi, the first Anushasta, in Ladnun, of Nagaur district (Rajasthan) to promote Oriental Studies. Jain Vishva Bharati University (JVBU) strives to provide world class education blended with moral values and spirituality. JVBU boasts collaboration with six international universities, national MoUs with more than 20 institutes and various industrial tie-ups to aid placement of students. JVBU focuses on the advancement of Indological Studies, Indian culture and philosophy.

Campus

JVBU’s lush green campus features well maintained gardens, parks, and a pollution free wholesome environment. The well secured campus hosts world class facilities such as smart classrooms, a rich library, computer labs, language and audio visual lab, digital studio, hostel, medical centre, meditation and yoga centre, auditorium, gymnasium, sports facilities, canteen, guest house, transport facilities, alumni association, placement cell, and career and counseling cell.

General Information

Admission

Eligibility Criteria:

BA/B com/B. Sc – 10+2 or Equivalent with 45 percent marks in aggregate

B. Ed & B. Ed integrated course – PTET qualified conducted by the Rajasthan Government for that year

MA – 10+2+3 or its equivalent with 45 percent marks in aggregate

M Ed – PMET qualified conducted by the Raj. Govt. for that year.

Admission procedure:

Admission notice is announced online.

Candidates needs to collect application form and prospectus from the university or online or by post against payment of fees of 250/-(cash or DD)

Duly filled form needs to be submitted along with photograph, required documents and fees either by post or in person before due date.

Those fulfilling eligibility criteria, needs to go through admission test. Candidates are selected on the basis of academic merit and performance in written test and interview.

JVBU was recognised as Deemed University by NAAC in 2013.

Recognised as best Deemed University in Rajasthan in Asia Education Summit & Awards 2016.

Ranked as Category ‘A’ institute by MHRD. 

Accommodation

Safe and secure accommodation is available for students within the campus. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls. Hostel has mess facility which is managed by students.

JVBU also has guest house with lodging and boarding arrangement.
