Founded in 2009, Sharda University, Greater Noida was set up with the objective of Hong the leadership skills of the students and help them achieve professional excellence. It is a UGC approved university and the only multi disciplinary university in the NCR region. The university welcomes and encourages diverse ideas, beliefs and culture.

Sharda University’s sprawling 63 acre campus is situated in the NCR region of Delhi. The campus hosts all the modern amenities including a well resourced library and reading area, a canteen/mess serving wholesome vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals, safe drinking water, round the clock water supply, among others. Facilities for sports such as basketball, badminton, tennis, football, hockey and cricket are also available. There are about 10 cafeterias located in different blocks of the campus. A well equipped air conditioned gym with the latest equipment is available for the students, faculty and staff members of the university. The university runs a fleet of buses to transport its students and faculty from various places in Delhi, Noida and Greater Noida. The campus is enabled with seamless WiFi network.

Placements:
The placement department of Sharda University is responsible for maintaining relations with companies and conducting the Sharda University placement drive. It conducts several activities and workshops such as guest lectures, seminars, workshops, corporate meets, to ensure that maximum number of students are placed and help them in making the correct career choice. Besides placement opportunities, non-graduating students are also offered summer internship programmes by the placement department.
Recent placement highlights- 2020: More than 360 recruiters participated in the 2020 placement drive, top recruiters among them being Sleepwell, NIIT, Cognizant, IBM, Amazon and Infosys. The highest CTC was recorded at INR 65 LPA, with the placement percentage being 91% for B.Tech. and 100% for M.B.A.

Admission Procedure:
Step 1: The application form can be obtained from the Admissions Cell of the university.
Step 2: Candidates applying online can apply through the university website www.sharda.ac.in.
Step 3: Applicants will need to apply, appear and qualify for entrances (of applicable). The successful applicants will need to sit for a personal interview (PI). For applicants seeking admission in MBA programme, a Group Discussion (GD) is conducted on a specified date. Applicants applying to engineering or medical programmes will also have to attend the counselling sessions for seat allocation.
Step 4: The selected applicant can deposit the fee through Cash/DD at the Sharda University campus or pay online through challan within 15 days of being informed about the selection.
Step 5: The applicant must report and enroll/register himself/herself at the Administrative Office of the respective schools within 15 days of depositing the fees. Verification of documents and payment of fees will confirm the applicant’s admission.
