8th TiE-Aspire Young Achievers Awards

The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) and Aspire invite you to cover the 8th TiE-Aspire Young Achievers Award to inspire the young generation to face challenges, overcome obstacles and go beyond the limit to succeed.

Since 2009, TiE and Aspire recognize three young achievers under 30 in the field of academics, sports, art, music and sciences for demonstrating extra-ordinary conviction and awe-inspiring accomplishments.


In a special session at the TGS’16, you will have a chance to meet and hear inspiring success stories from three such young stars as they recount their experiences in a candid conversation with Rohit Bhatia, Managing Director of Aspire.


Some of the past winners have included:


Arunima Sinha Padma Shree, climbed Mt. Everest (8848 m) despite an amputated leg

Anu Vaidyanathan, youngest finisher of the Ultraman triathlon, and India's first Ironman triathlete

Kishan Shrikanth, Guinness record holder as the "youngest director of a professionally made feature length film", recognized as one of top 15 genius children on the Oprah Winfrey show

Niranjan Mukundan, paralyzed in the lower half of his body, has won several national and international medals in swimming. Allowed to participate in 10 events, he won all 10 Gold Medals.

Rani Rampal, daughter of a cart-puller, went on to become a member of the Indian National Hockey Team and was adjudged Player of the Tournament four times in international tournaments

Utsav Lal credited with three solo albums & over 150 solo concerts before the age of 20, recognized as Young Steinway Artist, ABRSM scholar, Limca record holder, MAMA Award
