Indian Institute of Space Science and
Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram announces commencement of
admissions for its MS and M.Tech programmes for the academic year
2017. The announcement was made through a notification published on
the official website of IIST.
Only candidates who hold a valid
GATE score are eligible to take part in the
admission process. The seats are required to be filled in 11 different
programmes across various disciplines. There are six seats in each
programme. The application process commenced on April 6, 2017, and
will end on April 30, 2017.
The candidates satisfying the eligibility
criteria mentioned below are eligible to apply for admission to the MS
and M.Tech programmes offered by IIST.
Candidate should have passed
M.Sc/B.Tech/B.E with a minimum of 60 percent aggregate marks from
UGC/AICTE recognised university.
Candidate should have a valid GATE score
(not older than 3 years).
Candidate should not be more than 32 years
of age as on April 30, 2017.
How to Apply
Candidates satisfying the above-mentioned
eligibility criteria can apply for admission into M.Tech/M.S
programme. Applications are to submitted online only; no offline
applications would be acceptable. Step by step process of submitting a

Shortlisted candidates would be invited for written test and
interview. The admission of a candidate would depend upon his/her
performance in the written test and interview and the corresponding
