UCLA Anderson Executive Education launches PGPX in India

In partnership with Northwest Executive Education, the Los Angeles, California based UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management, one of the top global business schools, has launched its Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPX) in India. PGPX, an extensive global general management programme, is a first of its kind programme in India and South Asia. The one-year programme is focused on applied learning of MBA essentials for senior executives and business owners.

The PGPX is a comprehensive, rigorous and challenging programme covering all aspects of the management curriculum in a 60plusday schedule spread over a year. The flexible programme schedule will allow busy professionals to continue work while pursuing the programme. With zero opportunity cost and no career break, the programme helps participants build on their experiences. A week of classroom learning is conducted almost every month in different formats, including classroom and live online sessions. The UCLA Anderson PGPX offers executives the opportunity to bridge their skills gap, hone their leadership abilities and prepare themselves to achieve remarkable career growth.

The programme will impart knowledge of all key business functions and a practical understanding of how they interrelate. It aims to hone the business acumen required to make informed, game-changing decisions in today’s economy. Participants will also hone analytical problem-solving skills directly relevant to the most critical global business and organisational issues. Various experiential learning techniques are used throughout the programme that drive home the applicability of the programme sessions and develop vital skills as a team builder, leader and member. Such experiences include hands-on simulations taken from the current business world, a case competition and executive coaching and mentorship. Such learning interventions support participants in adapting to multiple team roles, swiftly master complexity and draw upon the application of all acquired knowledge.

Programme follows a rolling admissions process and participant applications are evaluated as soon as they are received. The programme will be conducted from April, 2015 to April, 2016.
