18th Annual Function organized at GGIS

18th Annual Day was celebrated at Gyan Ganga International School Jabalpur on 24th November 2018 with a midst great, zest, vibrancies and elation. The esteemed dignitaries who were present for the occasion were Hon’ble Prof. Dr. P.D. Juyal ‘Vice-Chancellor’ NDVSU, Jabalpur as the Chief Guest and Hon’ble Dr. P.B. Meshram ‘Scientist’ TFRI, Jabalpur as the Guest of Honor. The other luminaries who graced the function were Chairperson Gyan Ganga Group of Institution Hon’ble D.C. Jain and Hon’ble V.K. Jain, Shri Miniraj Modi, Director Dr. Rajneet Jain, Secretary Dr. Bhartesh Bharill, Executive Director Dr. Nitin Jain, School Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Chandel & the members of Managing Committee.

The programme commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the Hon’ble Chief Guests and esteemed dignitaries present over there. This was followed by the welcome note presented by the Executive Director of the institution Dr. Nitin Jain. The esteemed guest gave away prizes to the meritorious students of the school. This was followed by the Annual Report presented by the School Principal Hon’ble Dr. Rajesh Kumar Chandel in which he briefed the audience about the progress made by the institution which included the set-up of Atal Tinkering Lab, E-Library, Digitally equipped Computer Lab with Wi-Fi Connection and his future plan.

The cultural programme based on the theme “Incredible! India- a Cultural Travelogue” commenced with a heart touching welcome song presented by the choir of GGIS. The event incorporated with the remarkable performance of students performing the lively dances of various cultures and states of India. Presiding these presentations of Musical Mime encapsulated the audience as it took them back to their college days. Dazzling fire act added a splendor and heart throbbing beauty to the festio. The Folk Dances such as Lavani, Garba, Kajari of U.P, Shapla of West Bengal, Thappaatam Dance of Tamil Nadu, Puli Kali of Kerala, Haryanvi, Ghoomar , Kalbeliya and Koli dance of Goa presented by the students took the programme to the new heights. The audience wowed, over the presentations which were the blend of different colors of Indian traditions and Culture, excellent presentation of choreography, music, and outstanding anchoring performed by more than 40 anchors.

The achievements and accomplishment were awarded in the prize distribution ceremony held during the function. Cash Prize worth Rs. 4 lacs was rewarded to the toppers of sports and academics from each class. This year many students were honored by the management with the no of Excellency Awards for their performances in various fields. The students who could make up to these pretentious awards were Palak Agrawal, Awantika Napit, Deepika Choudhary, Rohit Agrawal and Rohit Ku. Patel. In the same sequence the Cock House Trophy of the year was grabbed by Ahinsa House. In the end the Head Girl Rimjhim Singh paved the gratitude and thanked gathering with the vote of thanks.
