Overview

CPS Global School is an international day cum boarding school affiliated with the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), UK and the International Baccalaureate (IB), Geneva. It has two campuses in Chennai; the Thirumazhisai campus and the Annanagar campus. 

Campus

Spread over 11.31 acres, CPS Global School provides a balanced environment focused on shaping the children to fit into the world of tomorrow. The campus has one of the best in class infrastructures in and around the city with facilities such as smart interactive touch screen boards, 3D projectors, Wi-Fi hotspots, RFID access/transaction and 3D Sci-fi Theatre. 

The school houses a well stocked library and laboratories for mathematics, computer and science. The school also has a multipurpose hall.

Co-curricular facilities are included for both Indoor and Outdoor games- Yoga, Chess, Tai-chi, Karate, Table Tennis, Basket Ball, Badminton, Cricket, Life Skills, Western Music, Dance, Athletics.

Transportation: CGS provides transport to all the well-connected roads in and around the vicinity of about 20 km from the school. For the safety and security of the students, the transport system has been facilitated with a radio tracking facility/GPS. Every bus has a custodian for the convenience of the students at the boarding and debarkation points. It is well equipped with a first aid box in case of any emergency.

Academics

CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai is a complete day-cum-residential school offering Cambridge Assessment International Education and Diploma Programme of the International Baccalaureate for students aged 5-16 years and 16-18 years respectively. It has two campuses in Chennai; the Thirumazhisai campus and the Annanagar campus. 

Both campuses offer the Cambridge Early Years Programme, Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Lower Secondary, Cambridge Upper Secondary (IGCSE) and Cambridge AS/A levels.

The Thirumazhisai campus additionally offers the Waterford Early Learning Programme and the IB Diploma Programme.

Admission

Admission to CPS Global School is open to Grades 1 to 9 and 11 students of the local and international community regardless of race, gender, religion, language or country of origin. Students from cross boards such as Cambridge, ICSE, CBSE, State Board and other international boards can apply for admission to CPS GS.

Non-native speakers of English are admitted up to Grade 8 as ESL program is offered to support these students. Basic language proficiency in English is required for IGCSE and IB DP.

Admission is based on First-cum-First Serve basis and the level of performance in the CPS GS-SAT and personal interview. However, admission shall primarily depend on the availability of seats.

CPS Global School provides accommodation facilities in its campus for its residential students to gain social education, to practice courtesy and cooperation and to live as one community. 

Colorfully painted rooms with comfortable furniture and well lit corridors make the hostel campus shed the “away from home” feeling in students. Facilities include safe, spacious, well ventilated and clean rooms, spacious wardrobes for clothes, luggage, books and shoes, bunk beds with blankets and pillows, state of the art kitchen and dining facilities with multi-cuisine food menu in a buffet facility.
