Sophia Nursery is situated on a beautiful campus with its Sister Institutions – Sophia College, Sophia Polytechnic and SPJ Sadhana School for the developmentally handicapped. Sophia Nursery was established in 1971 by the Society of the Sacred Heart, an international congregation of religious sisters dedicated to the education of women.

The Nursery is motto "Learning is Fun" in Mind, Sophia Nursery amalgamates all the assets of the Child’s development in a manner which enables each little one to shine like a sparkling, priceless Diamond.

The school’s goal is to create an environment within which the children develop physically, socially, emotionally, creatively, intellectually and spiritually.

Campus

The school has a spacious layout with big, cheerful, bright and airy classrooms. The school’s large garden with play equipments gives children an opportunity to play freely and calm their minds and help them to settle down for more serious activities ahead. School has a state-of-the-art Audio- Visual Room.

Academics

The school engages children in an array of activities for their overall development. The school arranges for field trips for fun and exploration and conducts gymnastics, which the school considers to be their students’ favorite activity. Sophia Nursery all involves children in drama and speech activities to enhance their confidence.
