Established in April 2010, The Shri Ram Early Years (TSEY), Gurgaon was promoted by the Shri Educare Ltd. (SEL) and set up by the Arun Bharat Ram family which boasts a rich legacy of setting up many reputed educational institutions such as the Shri Ram College of Commerce, Lady Shri Ram College and the Shri Ram Schools. TSEY aims to meet the growing need for quality education in the pre-school sector. TSEY reflects values and culture of The Shri Ram Schools and aims to build the foundation for formal schooling in a child-centric, age-appropriate way.
TSEY hosts bright, colorful and well equipped air-conditioned classrooms; state of the art teaching aids, a discovery room with children’s learning materials. The preschool also houses a play pen with swings, see saw, slides and other play equipments.
The preschool follows the Multiple Intelligences approach through the use of puppets, role play, circle time activities, art and craft, action songs, movement, and guided and free play.
Children are offered the liberty to choose to work on an activity of their choice such as looking at a story book, playing with blocks, drawing or coloring, playing with dough and exploring the discovery room where the equipments are easy to handle and accessible to children.
Children are engaged with each other by listening, articulating their thoughts and ideas which widens their vocabulary, role-playing, pre-reading and pre-writing skills. Children also learn early numeracy and critical thinking by sequencing, recognizing size, shapes, quantities, contrast, reasoning and other pre-math skills.
The preschool curriculum uses an integrated approach to learning by linking concepts with art, music, dance, drama and physical activity.
Min FeeAdmissions are open throughout the year. Children are admitted from 24 months onwards and are divided into two groups:
Nanhe Kadam – 24 to 36 months
Badhte Kadam – 36 to 48 months
