Overview

Vasant Valley School, New Delhi is a co-educational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Established in 1990, it is a self-financing school and is ranked second among co-ed day schools in India in the EducationWorld India School Rankings 2020-21.

The school’s eight-acre campus has modern infrastructure and fully equipped laboratories. Campus

The eight-acre campus has fully equipped science and computer labs. Senior students participate in awareness programs i.e. visits to hospitals, paper recycling, education of the under-privileged, hygiene in villages, and so on. A number of sports are played in the school and give the students an opportunity to express their individual talent. Drama, performing arts, arts and design, debating and music form a significant part of the curriculum.

Academics

Established by the India Today Group, Vasant Valley is a prep-12 school. Students of classes XI and XII prepare for the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (A.I.S.S.C.E.) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The school offers eighteen different subject choices at the elective level. Each student is required to take four elective subjects along with English core.

The school also offers and encourages extra-curricular activities like sports, debating and quizzing and has a good history of students participating in prestigious debates throughout the country.

Admission

A student must be of a minimum three years of age for admission into preschool. To apply under the general category, parents must produce the following documents:

• Residence proof (any one of the documents must be produced): ration card, voter ID card, telephone bill, electricity bill, water bill, passport.
• Child’s birth certificate
• For first born child, affidavit by parents confirming that the child is their first born.
