Overview

Peevees Public School is a co-ed boarding school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It was established in the year 1993 and caters to diverse capabilities of individual students with an emphasis on learning and evolving with creative solutions.

It is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and strictly follows a teacher-student ratio of 1:10. Peevees claims to be the only residential school in the country to offer in-house medical and engineering entrance coaching to students. 

Campus

The 25-acre sprawling green campus comprises smart classrooms and laboratories for science, maths, language and robotics. Co-curricular facilities include music, art and dance studios. The sports facilities of the school include two soccer fields, two basketball courts, two volleyball and throw ball courts, four badminton courts, one tennis court, one skating rink, indoor games hall for table tennis, chess and caroms. Other facilities include a fitness centre, health centre, dining and laundry rooms and a prayer hall. 

Academics

The academic program at Peevees Public School follows the CBSE syllabus. As a boarding school, children get more time to spend with their teachers in the process of learning. The enrichment programs focus on developing the child’s inborn talents in the fields of sports, arts and music.

The school’s language program helps children coming from non-English speaking backgrounds to become more proficient in communication. To support the emotional and social development of the child, the personal development program focuses on providing age-appropriate guidance and counselling to all our children. The entrepreneurship program aims to develop leadership and entrepreneurial skills in our youth so that they can go out and be leaders in the field they choose.

The school also offers remedial coaching to better students’ understanding of the curriculum and clear doubts.

Middle school students (classes VI to VIII) have English, maths, science and social sciences as their core subjects. They may choose two additional languages to learn alongside English. Grades IX and X have the same core subjects; they only need to choose one additional language besides English.

Grades XI and XII are offered science and commerce streams with various course combinations for each stream. 

Islamic Education, value education and social emotional learning is included as part of the curriculum. Specialised board exam coaching based on entrance exam coaching practices are also available as options.

Admission

For admission into Peevees Public School, parents are required to submit the filled in registration form online. A confirmation message will be sent on receipt of the registration form to the parents’ email id followed by a clarification call from the admissions office to schedule an interview/assessment for the child. The registration fee will have to be paid. On successful completion of the assessment and review of all documents, parents will be informed on the status of their child’s admission.

Accommodation

Students are offered accommodation in air-conditioned rooms with dedicated wardens and matrons, structured routines, supervised study hours and after school activities. Other boarding facilities include a hygienic multi-cuisine dining, an in-house confectionery, laundry services, 10-bedded clinic and a campus wide CCTV surveillance to ensure students’ well-being and safety.
