Overview

Jumpstart Preschool, Karve Road, Pune was started by Sneha Tapadia with a mission to focus on the holistic growth and development of the child, provide quality education to the children and to provide a safe and nurturing environment, where the children are comfortable to learn in.

The preschool offers a curriculum that integrates the best of all teaching methodologies, such as the Multiple Intelligences Approach, Playway method, Montessori method, Project method and the Glenn Doman method.

Campus

The preschool campus is spread over 10000 square feet and hosts a well designed environment with spacious and well lit and air conditioned classrooms, state-of-the-art play equipment and teaching aids and CCTV surveillance.

Academics

The preschool offers the following programmes:

Playgroup (1.6 years to 2.5 years)- This programme aims for a smooth transition from home to school and children are encouraged to learn language, social skills, motor (fine and gross) skills, cognitive skills, art and aesthetics, value education and environment studies. This programme focuses on emotional development of children.

Nursery (2.6 years to 3.5 years)- Focus is on exploration and learning, the five senses of children are used for practical life training. Children learn language, reading, writing and arithmetic readiness, phonetics, social skills, motor (fine and gross) skills, cognitive skills, art and aesthetics, value education and environment studies. This programme focuses on emotional and creative development of children.

Junior KG (3.6 years to 4.5 years- Children are prepared for reading, writing, mathematics and exposure to different languages, sight reading, phonetics, understanding number value, social skills, cognitive skills, art and aesthetics, science experiments, general knowledge, value education and environment studies. This programme focuses on emotional and creative development of children.

Senior KG (4.6 years to 5.5 years)- This program prepares children for formal schooling and academic concepts of English, math and Hindi are taught along with practical life training, value education, environmental studies, exposure and empowerment to different intelligences. This programme focuses physical, emotional, creative, social, language, cognitive and moral development on emotional and creative development of children.

Admission

Parents must schedule an appointment with school for enquiry and school tour. Admissions are granted only after the school visit and personal meeting with the centre head. Admissions are open throughout the year and parents can select a batch of their choice.
