Overview

Located in Shastri Nagar locality of Ghaziabad, Healthy Planet playschool believes that every child is a gift, and mentors and parents need to play an active role in nurturing children with early years education.

Healthy Planet follows the Multiple Intelligences approach to aid the overall development of children.

Campus

Located inside the Nehru World school premises, Healthy Planet houses spacious air-conditioned classrooms with interactive whiteboards. A multiple Intelligences enabled resource centre is the highlight of the school. The campus also houses well stocked library and labs.

Academics

Healthy Planet offers pre-primary and primary education. The school draws inspiration from the work of Howard Gardner, Professor of Cognition and Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the curriculum is scientifically designed after thorough research on children’s learning abilities and is extensively drawn from the child development theory and brain research.

The curriculum not only accommodates the linguistic and mathematical intelligences but also six other intelligences that include visual, musical, naturalistic, kinesthetic, inter-personal and intra-personal. For instance, every new concept is explained and assessed on multiple intelligences so that a child’s interest is engaged such as the concept of number 3 (three) is explained in various ways to target eight intelligences; through words, numbers, shapes, pictures, rhymes, bodily activities, cooperative group work, clay modeling, individual project work, as well as through observations in the natural environment.

Extracurriculars:

The art & craft, music & dance centre and audio visual theatres help in nurturing the artistic talents and creativity of children.

Play area:

The campus houses a splash pool, spacious indoor and outdoor play areas and two well maintained basketball courts

Admission

Registration for play group and pre-nursery batches take place at different intervals throughout the year. Parents can seek further information regarding the admissions for preschool from the school reception desk. The registration for nursery classes usually begin in the first week of September. For admission to nursery, the child should have completed 3 years by March 31.
