Overview

Excelsior American School, Gurugram is a co-educational international day-cum-boarding school affiliated with Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) offering IGCSE curriculum and AS-A levels and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). The school offers education from kindergarten to class X. It was founded with the objective of providing the community with a school that enhances and develops the intellectual, social, ethical and physical aspects of a child’s life. Campus

The school spread over five acres has state of the art infrastructure with fully equipped, well ventilated and spacious classrooms, labs for science subjects and well-connected computer labs. Reading is an important aspect at Excelsior and it begins as early as three-year-olds in the form of class libraries.

The school has a well-stocked reading room for children from class KG onwards to visit and get books issued as per their choice. Books are added at frequent intervals to encourage and imbibe good reading habits amongst the children.

The sports complex is an avant-garde infrastructure completely stocked with all the resources and equipment needed for each sport. The complex has facilities available for both indoor and outdoor sports and interested students can train and learn the basics of the sport from appointed professional trainers. From indoor and outdoor facilities for activities such as squash, badminton, table tennis to lawn tennis, basketball to cricket, we have an extensive setup to support physical activity and sports for all our students.

School transportation is available for all grades from pre-nursery to class X. All the buses have air-conditioning facilities.

Admission

For pre-primary, primary and middle school admissions, interview and assessment is not done. However, the child’s previous report card and transcript is required. There is an admission test in general subjects (English, mathematics and science) from grade VIII onwards.
