NES International School, Mumbai is a coeducational international day school affiliated with the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), United Kingdom and offers CAIE’s International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curriculum, and the International Baccalaureate (IB), Geneva offering the IB-PYP, IB-MYP and IB-DP programs. The school was founded in 1983 by Dr Varadarajan, also the founder of National Education Society (NES) which was set up in 1963.
The National Education Society runs about 55 institutions across the country with over 43,500 students. All the institutions under the NES banner have received the ISO 9001:2000 certification for maintaining world class standards in education.
NES International School is the first school in India which hosts a space pavilion by ISRO and Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, who were pleased with the performance of the school and committed to establish a space pavilion within the school campus.
The school has libraries set up within classrooms for children to access reference books during class hours, a modern computer lab, music room, infirmary, cafeteria and a gymnasium. The school also provides locker facility for children.

Parents can visit the school, take a tour and submit an application form along with all relevant details about the child. The school then conducts an interview to assess the child’s learning abilities before shortlisting him/her for admission. Once the candidate is selected, parents must pay the registration fee to complete the admission process.
The age criteria are as follows:
Playgroup: 1.5 years to 2.5 years
Nursery: 2.5 years to 3.5 years
Junior KG: 3.5 years to 4.5 years
Senior KG: 4.5 years to 5.5 years
Class I: 5.5 years to 6.5 years
