Overview

The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad was established in 1964 to impart learning on issues and policies pertaining to public enterprises. It is an autonomous, non-profit educational society devoted to education, training, research and consultancy for business enterprises. The institute is sited amidst picturesque surroundings in Osmania University campus at Hyderabad. IPE started by offering research work; it started offering management education in 1980 with a three year part time MBA (PE) programme. In 1995, it also started offering a two year full time Post Graduation Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) course. IPE is recognized as a ‘Centre of Excellence’ by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of Human Resource Development for doctoral studies. All the programmes of this B-School is AICTE approved.
