Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara (JSS) Academy of Technical Education, is one of India’s premier engineering institutes located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. It is affiliated affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University situated in Sector 62, Noida and was inaugurated by the former president of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in 1998.
All courses offered at the JSS Academy are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The institute boasts excellent placement statistics each year with reputed corporate houses. Top -notch companies such as Microsoft, Infosys, IBM, and CSC visit the campus for recruitment drives every year.
JSS Academy is is sited in the Gautam Budh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh. Sprawling over 28 acres, the institute has a built up area of 77,240 sq mts.
The campus hosts a large play ground for sports and games. Facilities for indoor games such as badminton, carom, chess, table tennis and outdoor games such as cricket, football, basketball, volleyball are also available on the campus.
The campus hosts 62 classrooms, 23 tutorial rooms, 10 seminar rooms, a conference room and committee room. Each department has its own laboratory, and there are about 86 labs in all.
The library is fully air-conditioned and well-stocked with about 9000 titles and 70,000 books on various subjects. JSS also offers an auditorium, a gymnasium, a canteen and an essential health centre.
The institute offers accommodation facility for both boys and girls inside the campus. An efficient transport system is also available for students.

SportsAdmission in all courses offered in this academy is through UPSEE qualifying examination.
All the seats in B.Tech, MBA and MCA course, are to be filled through UPSEE All India Merit.
-B.Tech Courses: 100% seats in all branches are filled based on UPSEE merit. Lateral entry in second year is open for Engg. Diploma holders or B.Sc graduates with Mathematics as one of the subject at XII standard.
-MCA Course: All seats are filled based on merit of the candidates in UPSEE. Lateral entry in 3rd semester is open for candidates who have passed Bachelors degree course of minimum 3 years in -BCA or B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) from any recognized Indian university or its equivalent.
-Master of Business Administration (MBA): All seats are filled based on merit of the candidates in UPSEE. A Master of Business Administration (MBA) develops skills in business management. Before committing to earning one, understand what an MBA is and if it’s the right degree for you. An MBA provides a graduate education in foundational business practices, such as accounting, finance, marketing and management. It is often a beneficial degree choice for working professionals who need to obtain additional education to reach their career goals and climb the corporate ladders of business administration.
The JSS Science & Technology Entrepreneurs Park (JSS STEP) is a registered society under the Society Registration Act, 1860 that provides value added services to students, unemployed youth, working professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs in the National Capital Region. It is one of only 17 such centers in the country.
JSS Academy has international collaborations with foreign universities and other organizations. A Product Life Cycle Management Competency Centre in collaboration with Ministry of National Education, Government of France and Dassault Systemes, France, has been established to train students in advanced manufacturing technologies.
The institute has been ranked in the 201-250 rank band by NIRF for the rankings released in the year 2020. It has also been ranked among the top 20 private engineering colleges in the EW India Engineering Colleges Rankings 2020-21.
JSS Academy offers separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls at the undergraduate level. The allotment of hostel is done on a first-come first-serve basis.
