Overview

Promoted in 2012, VIBGYOR High School, Jakkur is a member of the VIBGYOR High chain of 17 schools spread across the country and is affiliated with the Delhi based Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.

The school boasts world class infrastructure to support the academic and extracurricular pursuits of its students and aims to “provide unique learning opportunities and exciting experiences to prepare students for the challenges of a competitive world.”

Campus

The 41,200 sq.ft school campus boasts 20 classrooms equipped with ICT teaching-learning facilities, a well-stocked library with 1932 books and 9 magazines, well-equipped science and computer labs with internet facility, dining facility, transport facility, and sports facilities such as skating rink, basketball court, fields for football and cricket, and a swimming pool. State-of-the-art rooms are provided for dance, music, gymnasium, and indoor games.

Academics

Affiliated with CISCE and CBSE, the school offers education from preprimary level through grade VII. The school also provides day care facilities for working mothers. The balanced curriculum of VIBGYOR incorporates arts, self-awareness, communication and physical education along with regular studies.

For play school, the teacher-student ratio is maintained at 1:6 and for nursery, it is maintained at 1:8 and for all other grades it is 1:12.

Extracurricular:

The academic curriculum at VIBGYOR High, Jakkur, is seamlessly integrated with a structured curriculum of sports and performing arts (SPA) which includes activities such as swimming, skating, basketball, aerobics, and speech and drama, among others.

Admission

The admission process to be followed for admission at VIBGYOR High – Jakkur is as follows:

– Purchase the admission kit against a payment of Rs. 300/-

– Submit the completed admission form along with relevant documents (as mentioned in the application form) and a non refundable registration fee of Rs. 1000/-

– Schedule an informal interactive session with the school

– Admission will be confirmed based on the payment of admission fees and realisation of cheque.

Admission fees is one time non-refundable fee of Rs. 20, 000/-

Annual and tuition fees once paid will not be refunded.
