Overview

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Public School, Jubilee Hills was inaugurated by His Holiness Swami Ranganathanandaji, president of Ramakrishna Mutt on July 5, 1979. Located in the Jubilee Hills district of Hyderabad, it is an English medium co-educational day school offering education from lower kindergarten to class XII.

Inspired by the vision and ideals of the founder, K.M.Munshiji, the school is dedicated to “the reintegration of Indian culture, synthesizing the ancient but ever relevant and enduring spiritual values of India with the needs of modern times”.

The school has been accredited for international dimension in the curriculum under the International School Award (ISA) scheme. It has also bagged several awards at the national and international level, notably Intel Award, Computer Literacy Award both at State and National level, Asset Question Making Contest at Regional and National level and e-India Award.

Campus

The sprawling 8 acre campus hosts a separate primary section, two state-of-the-art computer laboratories equipped with LCD projectors, a well-stocked library, state-of-the-art basket ball court, 2 tennis courts, 4 volley ball courts, 6 table tennis enclosures, on-site hostel facilities, an in-house stationery shop and various other amenities.

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Public School is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and provides education from lower kindergarten to class XII. The school maintains a healthy teacher student ratio of 1:22.

Extracurricular: The school offers a host of extracurricular activities such as basket ball, volley ball, tennis, archery, gymnastics, karate, skating, nature club and tourism club.
