Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir (BVM) at Girinagar in Cochin was founded in 1977 by Bharatiya Vidya Mandir in association with Cochin Shipyard Ltd. This co-educational day school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and offers classes from primary through senior secondary. The school functions under the purview of the Kochi Kendra of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, which runs 7 schools in Kochi.
