Presidency University, Bengaluru is a private university situated in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Established in 2013, it is a University Grants Commission (UGC)-recognised institution and accredited with a grade of A+ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
Presidency University offers 65 courses in various streams in undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels including engineering, management, design, computer applications, commerce and law. The college is manned by over 500 highly qualified faculty members hailing from premier institutions such as IITs, NITs, IISCs etc.
Spread over more than 64 acres in Yelahanka, Bengaluru, Presidency University houses state-of-the-art academic and extracurricular facilities for students. The campus is equipped with smart classrooms, a well-stocked library, a moot court, an auditorium and laboratory facilities for computer, chemistry, mechanical and civil engineering. Other amenities include medical services, cafeteria, transportation/shuttle services and hostel facilities. Sports facilities on campus include a gym and courts and fields for football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, swimming and kho-kho.
The campus also houses a Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Center (SDG Center) aimed at focusing on focuses on investigative techno-social work, consultancy, research and training.

Presidency University’s placement cell organises the annual campus placements for employment of students by eminent recruiters. Besides the placement drive, the placement cell also organises various workshops on personal and professional skill development, leadership qualities, presentation skills and training for aptitude along with a variety of guest lectures by eminent industry professionals.
Recent placement highlights- 2020: With over 80% students getting placed by more than 20 recruiters, the highest CTC was recorded at INR 7 LPA, while the average CTC stood at INR 3 LPA. Top companies who participated in the 2020 placement drive included TATA consultancy services, Reliance, TVS, Wipro, Byju’s and NIIT.
