Candor International School, Bangalore was established in 2010 by IT professionals and entrepreneurs from US, UK and India and the board of trustees are leaders in their respective fields. The name ‘Candor’ is derived from the Latin word ‘candere’, which means ‘to shine’.
Candor is an IB (International Baccalaureate Organization) certified international day cum residential co-education school which provides education to 300 students from over 14 nationalities. The average teacher-student ratio of this school is 1:30.
Sited on a 25-acre plot near Electronic City in Bangalore, the school houses a six-acre organic farm inside the campus. It hosts an administrative wing, a kindergarten wing, a primary and middle wing and a secondary wing. All the classrooms are well ventilated, spacious and equipped with LCD projector and white board.
The school provides a well-stocked digitally equipped library for primary, middle and high school. Other facilities include wi-fi enabled campus, music studios, science lab, math lab, dormitories, medical care, transport and cafeteria.

For grades I to V, the school follows International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP).
For grades VI-VIII, the school offers International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curriculum.
Candor offers the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) program for students in grades IX and X. In grade X, students appear for their IGCSE examination.
The school offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for the students of grade XI and XII.
Extracurricular
Extracurricular activities such as music, dance, dance drama and visual art form an important part of the school curriculum. Sports such as football, cricket, hockey, tennis, basket ball, athletics, swimming are also encouraged.

The school follows rolling admission throughout the year. Admission forms can be downloaded from the school website. Candidates are required to post or scan and email the form along with the supporting documents to the admission office. Admission from class I to V is done on the basis of an interview. From class VI onwards, candidates need to appear for a written admission test also.
