The BK Birla Centre for Education (BKBCE) is a world-class all boys residential school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, located near Pune (just 126 km from Mumbai), Maharashtra. Established in 1998 by Mr BK Birla and Mrs Sarala Birla, the school is considered to be one of the best CBSE boarding schools in Maharashtra today.

The academic block is a two-storeyed structure that houses well ventilated and well-furnished classrooms, administrative offices and laboratories. Facilities include a well-resourced library, computer labs, music lab, robotics lab, labs for biology, chemistry, physics, social science, language, arts & crafts, and mathematics.
Sports facilities include a world class skating rink, a football ground, basketball and tennis court, cricket ground, a swimming pool, and a horse-riding area. The campus also houses an auditorium and hostel.
BK Birla Centre for Education is an English medium co-educational residential school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and follows the CBSE/NCERT syllabus.
In the present scenario, a tech savvy environment along with experiential learning for practical application of theoretical knowledge has become mandatory, encouraging students to have a regular study schedule. The remedial helps those who need extra tutoring in specific areas while the prep classes are scheduled in the evening on a daily basis for self-study and completion of assignments and projects.

SportsThe admission process at BK Birla Centre for Education is designed to enrol students of the highest promise while assuring a wide diversity of backgrounds and aptitudes within the student body. Filling the registration form does not guarantee admission, nor is the registration fee refundable. BK Birla Centre conducts an admission test which applicants need to appear for. The admission test reviews candidates on the basis of their knowledge in English, mathematics, second language and general knowledge. Once the admission test is over and a candidate is selected, he/she must produce transfer certificates from the school last attended at the time of admission.
The academic year for the BK Birla Centre for Education is divided into two terms with the first term being from April to September and the second term from October to March. Admissions are open from classes IV to IX and XI. Except for class IV, which is the entry point, admissions for other classes are made available subject to possible vacancies due to withdrawals. For classes other than standard IV, it is quite possible that students might find it difficult to cope with the curriculum, in such cases our teachers do provide additional assistance. However, in the end it is also the responsibility of the parents to ensure that their child puts in their best efforts.

Situated amidst the scenic locales of Pune, the BK Birla Centre for Education offers world-class residential facilities. The school has five hostel blocks. Each block is a two-storeyed structure housing dormitories, residential flats, common rooms and a study room. Students from class IV to VIII live in a dorm system while those from class IX to XII reside in twin-sharing rooms. Each block accommodates about 108 to 144 students. The common room in every hostel block sports a unique design that is modern yet comfortable, warm and inviting. Each common room is equipped with a music system and television where pre-set channels are available. Apart from this, English and Hindi movies are screened every weekend in the auditorium. The lights-out time for students is 9:30 pm, but senior students are allowed to study beyond this time to prepare for board exams.
Each floor of a block has two resident house masters who act as parents and counsellors to students. The school trains students to take up additional responsibilities by assigning some of them the roles of hostel prefect, who participate in the smooth administration of the hostel. Every dormitory or room is equipped with a study table and a wardrobe for students. Linen is changed regularly, with a laundry facility where all linen and clothes are washed twice a week.
