Delhi Public School (DPS), Maruti Kunj is a co-eductaional day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Founded in 1995, DPS Maruti Kunj is a collaborated effort between Maruti Udyog Limited – the automobile giant and the DPS Society.
Having started with 350 students and 35 staff members, the school today boasts 3300 students, more than 150 teachers and around 49 other staff members. The Managing Committee of the school comprises members of the DPS Society and members of the MEET (Maruti Employees Education Trust).
The school campus sprawls over 13 acres hosting a primary and senior wing, a well stocked library, auditorium, well equipped labs for psychology, math, geography, computer science and separate labs for physics, chemistry and biology. The school houses smart class rooms, activity room and counseling room. There is also a sports complex, a huge play area, cafeteria and a medical room.
The school follows the CBSE curriculum and the CCE method of evaluation. The school has integrated e-learning in its academic curriculum and all its classrooms are equipped with Smart Boards. The school’s Model United Nations (MUN) club organizes various Intra MUN activities in the school campus to train the students for inter school MUN events and is a regular participant in inter school MUN activities. The school has also hosted a French Exchange Program for its students and faculty. The teacher student ratio is 1:25.

SportsThe admission notification is placed in leading dailies in the month of September and October for a specified period of time. Parents can collect the form on any weekday during the specified time period.
Admission for nursery and prep is based on observation/interaction; date and time of interaction are intimated at the time of submission of the registration form.
The age criterion for nursery admission is 3.5 years plus as on March 31 of the year of admission.
Selection process for classes I-XII is through a written test and interview/observation. The test subjects for classes I-V are Hindi, English and mathematics while for classes VI-XII, the test subjects are English, mathematics and general science.

DPS, Maruti Kunj runs the DPS Maruti Shiksha Kendra, an education program for the underprivileged whose objective is to educate the children belonging to below poverty line families from the nearby villages. More than 200 students in the age group of 5-15 years (classes’ I-VIII) are being benefited under this project.
Being a day school, DPS Maruti Kunj does not offer accommodation facility.
