Promoted in 1936 by eminent educationists Late Prof. H.L. Gupta and Late Smt. Shanti Gupta, Model Academy is a coeducational English medium day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. SportsAdmission forms are available online. Admission applications can be submitted from February through March. Candidates are admitted on the basis of merit. For classes X and XII, the candidates need to write an admission test in order to be eligible for admission.
Applicants from scheduled caste / scheduled tribe, below poverty line and from RBA/LAC categories have reservation of up to 20 percent of seats under the freeship category. The school also provides admission to students with mild learning disabilities under the inclusive education programme.
