Started under the aegis of the Delhi Public School Society, Delhi Public School (DPS), Meerut is a coeducational school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Campus

DPS Meerut is sited on a well planned 12 acre campus which hosts world class facilities to cater to the scholastic and co-scholastic needs of the students. The school is equipped with 3 smart boards to facilitate the teaching-learning process. The school boasts a fully automated library with more than 13,000 books, CD roms, newspapers, magazines and a large section of reference titles with journals and encyclopedias.

In order to promote artistic talents, fine art, craft and music, facilities are provided along with a fully multi-purpose auditorium and an amphitheatre. The school also hosts well equipped and modern laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology, Maths, language and computers.

The school houses excellent sports equipment and gymnasium facilities. There are courts for Badminton, Tennis, Basket Ball, a covered temperature controlled swimming pool, and a splash pool for tiny-tots. The school boasts a 400mt, 8 lanes Athletics track, Horse Riding Club, Tennis Academy, Hockey and Football courts of international size and an international size Skating Rink.

The sports complex also houses a cricket academy, shooting range, craft area, squash court, gymnasium and billiards room.

DPS Meerut is affiliated with New Delhi based CBSE and offers classes from Kindergarten to class XII. The school places equal emphasis on non scholastic areas and encourages inter-class and inter-house contests to emphasise healthy competition and to broaden horizons and build character. The school also conducts educational tours covering India and neighboring countries. Trekking, mountaineering and rock-climbing are the other activities that nurture a spirit of adventure in the students.

Admission

Admission is open to all interested candidates. Admissions for Kindergarten to class II are based on performance in the oral test and interaction with the principal. Performance in the written test and interaction is the criteria for admission to higher classes.
