ABES EC hosts inter college management fest ‘TEJAS 2016’

Ghaziabad based ABES Engineering College (ABES EC), a premier institute of higher learning in India, hosted an inter college management fest ‘TEJAS 2016’ on March 15 and 16. The event was organised by the Department of Business Administration in association with Ghaziabad Management Association to give management students an insight of minute aspects of business management. Students from near about 40 institutes from Delhi NCR including, RKGIT, Ghaziabad, IMS, Galgotias and ITS participated in various competitions conducted at the fest. The fest was inaugurated by V K Dubey (senior VP, Ghaziabad Management Association & MD, Continental Carbon of India Ltd.), Vinay Gupta (executive director, Ghaziabad Management Association), Neeraj Goel (general secretary, ABESEC), Dr. Surendra Kumar (director, ABESEC), Sachin Goel (director, Operations, ABESEC) and Dr. R K Singhal (HOD, MBA). 
The main focus of the event was on encouraging intelligence and creativity through formal and informal events such as Summer Training Project Competition, Ad-Mad Show, Business Plan, Debate, Group Dance, Rangoli, Photography, Business Cartoon Making and Documentary Making Competition, among others. The events provide students a platform to showcase their diverse talents. It is envisaged that the fest will bring out the best in students and provide them with valuable learning and knowledge sharing opportunities, appreciating and encouraging their full potential. ABES aims at bringing out the best in students in terms of the knowledge, aptitude, creativity and spirit of sportsmanship through this fest. 

The participants will be awarded prizes under 3 different categories including PG/PGDM/PGDB, undergraduates and B.TECH students, according to the course they are currently pursuing. 

A key highlight of the event was ‘ABES HAAT’ featuring various stalls such as eatables, beauty and grooming, placement, handicraft, health check up camps and others. 

The event was supported by a number of sponsors such as BISLERI, PNB, CITYLOOKS, DELTACIOUS, IDI, IMPECCABLE ACADEMY, ORVILLE, BRANDWATCH, CETPA, MbaGuru. The Grooming partner is VLCC.
