Admissions open at Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information & Communication Technology

The admissions process is underway for the year 2022  at the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar invites students to apply for its  undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs for the academic year 2022.

Eligibility, Selection Criteria, Intake and Fees:

The  Institute  looks for students with  good academic performance. 12 567890-There is no management quota at the DA-IICT. All the seats are filled as per the eligibility criteria set by the Institute and keeping in view the Government directions. The seats in the UG program are filled under three categories:

(a) All India category which is based on AIEEE JEE score

(b) Gujarat Category which is based on Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC)

(c) NRI and Foreign National Category.

There is no increase in the tuition fees for the UG programs as compared to the last academic year 2021- 22.  There is a marginal hike in fees in some of  the  PG and Doctoral programs.

A first-of-its-kind program launched

A new post graduate program, MSc in (Agriculture Analytics) will be launched from this academic year. The program will be offered jointly by DA-IICT, Anand Agriculture University and Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) Dehradun. This program is targeted at science and engineering graduates .  A multi-disciplinary program of agriculture and data analytics, the course will introduce students to concepts of data analytics, viz. descriptive, predictive and prescriptive, in agriculture and will empower the students to eliminate speculative farming and usher in the age of predictive agriculture. A special feature of this program will be the value-added courses with certification, conducted by the industry.

Campus Placements

DA-IICT had a record placements year on year for its students.  The placements numbers and the highest compensation received by the students have been increasing per year. Around 140+ companies including top-notch ones such as Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung, Zomato, Sprinklr, DeShaw and several other marquee names participated in the placements drive of 2022.  A total of 442 offers were made to the DA-IICT students across all programs with the highest CTC  of Rs. 52.75 lakh per annum and an average CTC of  around Rs. 13.61 lakh per annum. Along with new recruiters, the Institute has several who hire talent from the Institute regularly.

Scholarships & Financial Assistance:

DA-IICT provides both Merit & Merit-cum-Means scholarships to students of its Undergraduate and Post Graduate programs. The amount ranges from full to partial tuition fee waiver depending on the student’s academic credential and financial condition.

Additionally, MTech students who are GATE qualified and PhD research scholars get teaching assistance ship and receive financial assistance.
