Founded in 2010, Alliance University, Bengaluru is a private university recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi. Alliance University was established by the Karnataka State Government Act No 34. The university offers baccalaureate concentrations, postgraduate and doctoral programmes and several professional certificate programmes.
Alliance School of Business is the first Indian B-school to be accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), USA — a premier international accreditation body for business management programmes and all law courses offered by the university are recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi.
Alliance University was recognised as the Best Private University of the Year 2014-2015 by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASSOCHAM) of India, New Delhi.
The university aims to create and sustain a community of lifelong learners in an environment that emphasises literacy, critical thinking, and humanistic and scientific inquiry.
The university boasts three campuses; the central campus is located in Anekal and two city campuses are located at BTM Layout. The central campus hosts an administration block, spacious seminar halls with acoustics, amphitheatre style classrooms with state-of-the-art ambience, a well stocked library, halls of residence for students, faculty and staff and learning centre. The campus also houses a food court, departmental store, book store, fitness centre, saloon, sports and recreational facilities and a healthcare centre.
