Amity holds fifth Annual Technology Conference -INFINITY-2022

Amity Business School organized the fifth Annual Technology Conference, INFINITY-2022 on “Transformative Technologies: Fueling the Future”, from November 3-4, 2022.

Emphasizing upon the increasing cases of cyber crime, Prof. Triveni Singh, (IPS),  SP Cyber Crime, averred, “Cyber Crimes have tremendously increased in the last few years and many of us have been a victim of the same. Today, due to the drastic advancement of technology, it is easier to solve Cyber crime cases and in most cases the criminals are very smart and know the use of technology to hide their crimes so that they cannot be caught. Therefore, one must act with great caution and mindfulness in day-to-day life in order to avoid instances of cyber fraud.”

Speaking about the Role of Technology in Cyber Crime Investigation, Amit Dubey, National Security Expert, Cyber Crime Investigator, asserted, “Data Analysis, Quantum Computing, Metaverse and Artificial Intelligence will be the gamechangers in the next few years,  specially in the field of Crime Investigation. With the increase in number of Cyber Crimes, these tools are highly effective in finding solutions and addressing the challenges of the cyber world.”

Jayant Chandra, Director, Digital Transformation & Products, PwC India, averred, “In order to survive today, one must be technologically savvy and should learn the basic concepts, even if one is not from a tech background. Technology is very much required for a smarter workforce and holistic development of businesses. It’s high time one starts thinking ahead and learn the new concepts of technology which are essential in our day-to day life. “

Prof. (Dr.) Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, stated, “Transformative Technology is the future. During the pandemic,  technology became the most powerful enabler for sustaining and growing businesses across the globe. It was only due to technology that individuals and companies survived. Today, everything has become data driven, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Augmented Reality are the new buzzwords which have taken over the world, and the world is witnessing unprecedented development in the field of science and technology. Therefore, the Conference is very apt and beneficial for the students as it deliberates upon the impact of technology on businesses.”

“Technology has tremendously affected our lives, in each and every aspect. With the onset of the Pandemic, it has really taken over the world and has been a great medium to connect people from one part of the world to the other. Each one of us uses technology in our daily lives and has become tech-enabled in the last two years. The main objective of this Conference is to discuss and deliberate on the emerging and disruptive technologies and their business implications. The outcome of these discussions is in alignment of our newly reinvented curriculum, which will be highly beneficial for the students, Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Bansal, Dean FMS & Director Amity Business School (ABS).

During the two-day Conference, Plenary Sessions on pertinent topics including “Transformative Technologies for Financial Services”, “Transformative Technologies in Operations and Supply Chain” and “Transformative Technology for Customer Services and Employee Management”, will be conducted, along with a Poster Making Competition which will be held and Articles and Research Papers which will also be presented during the two-day conference.
