Promoted in 1999, Amity Law School, Delhi was the first law school in the National Capital Region to offer the five-year integrated Bachelor of Laws (LLB Honors) degree programme. Amity Law School (ALS) is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, and is approved by the Bar Council of India.
According to an ALS spokesperson the school’s academic programmes seek to promote multi-disciplinary analysis of socio-legal problems through excellent curriculums and pedagogies. Teaching-learning includes lectures, discussions, case law analysis, moot court training, project and research assignments.
ALS is owned and promoted by the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF) which runs the Amity group of education institutions. The Amity Group comprises five universities, 17 primary-secondary schools and 150 other institutions of education with an aggregate enrolment of 95,000 students and 3,500 faculty spread over 17 campuses in India and seven abroad. These top ranked institutions include the state-of-the-art Amity University, Noida and Amity University, Rajasthan.
Amity Law School is sited on the Amity University campus in Noida. It provides spacious and well-furnished air-conditioned classrooms with instructional aids such as over head projectors, white boards, and LCD projector to enable discussions and project presentations.
The library is well stocked with a collection of 9450 books and 5464 journals and reports. In addition the library subscribes to more than 91 journals and 15 magazines and 8 national newspapers as well as to Westlaw India online and Indlaw databases.
The computer lab is air-conditioned and offers more than 50 computers with internet connectivity. The entire campus is Wi-Fi with 24×7 internet connectivity.
ALS also hosts a Moot Court Hall designed like a courtroom for the purpose of conducting Moot Court Competitions.

Amity Law School has an annual intake of 160 students. Admission is through an entrance test conducted in May every year by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. Based on their ranking in the entrance test, students may apply to Amity Law School through the university conducted counseling session.
