Founded in 2003, Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh is a private research university with over 50,000 students studying across various disciplines on a 700 acre hi-tech campus. The university was founded by Ashok Chauhan, the founder of the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation. Amity University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Over the years, 30,000 Amity students have secured on-campus placements in MNCs and top organisations. The university boasts 2,500 faculty members led by 11 former vice chancellors, former chairman of UGC and vice chairman of AICTE. Campus

Amity University campus hosts spacious and air-conditioned class rooms which offer conducive atmosphere for dynamic and focused discussions. All classrooms are in amphitheatre style and designed to bring together analysis with action and are augmented with integrated audio-visual teaching aids for lectures and presentations. The 300 syndicate rooms provide the perfect setting to acquire team skills through exercises such asbrain-storming sessions, group discussions and role-plays. The university also boasts e-learning studio for various online courses through distance learning and 300 laboratories for different departments. Amity University hosts state-of-the heart auditoriums which can accommodate 3500 persons and act as a common ground for students, faculty and corporate personalities for regular interfaces, conferences and other events. It organises centralised placement drives every August for which students can register online via the centralised placement portal. Undergraduate Admission- B.Tech., integrated B.Tech. and M.Tech., integrated B.Tech. and M.B.A. Selection Criteria: Amity JEE score. Eligibility: 10+2 with PCM from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks. Admission Procedure:

Amity University, Noida was ranked 216 in Asia by The QS World University Rankings of 2018 and 171-180 among BRICS nations. The Times Higher Education World University Rankings ranked it and 301–350 in Asia in 2018 and 251–300 in the BRICS & Emerging Economies University Rankings in 2017. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked it 65 in the overall ranking for 2018, 58 among universities (2019), 25 in the pharmacy ranking and 48 in the management ranking.
