Eligible candidates anywhere in India and abroad are permitted to register under this programme for 2013-14.
Applications are invited from Post Graduates, M.Phil and M.S (By Research) degree holders for admission to part time Ph. D programme in Nautical Science, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Harbour and Ocean Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Management Studies, English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Library Science, Physical Education, Social Sciences and Humanities.
Applicants with B.Tech/ B.E. / B.Sc Engg / B.Arch / MBBS / FCA having a minimum of 60% marks at graduation level are also permitted to register under this programme. Captains, Chief Engineer, Commander are also eligible to apply. Duration of the Programme: 3 years.
Candidates may be allowed to choose the guides and Supervisors (Both in India or Abroad) from the Guides and Supervisors Pool of the University or from other sources.
The cost of Ph. D application form is Rs. 1,000/- (one thousand only) Demand Draft to be sent in favour of The Registrar, AMET University – Chennai.
