Overview

Aravali International School, Sector 43, Faridabad is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school was promoted in 2004 by Dhan Singh Bhadana, chairman of the Aravali Eduworld Group of educational institutions.

The school’s mission is to develop an internationally acclaimed group of professional institutions by achieving and sustaining excellence in generation of world-class learning environment, academic programs and creating achievers.

Campus

The school is located on a lush green campus of 13.5 acres and hosts an auditorium with a seating capacity of 1000, bright and ventilated classrooms, activity rooms, an amphitheatre, well stocked library, well equipped science labs, dance halls, infirmary and a cafeteria.

The school’s sports infrastructure includes a 7 acre playground, a swimming pool, rifle shooting hall, 200m skating rink and an indoor games facility.

Academics

The school curriculum is structured in a manner that keeps children engaged with the changing trends and focuses on integration of knowledge, development of critical thinking, problem solving, and performance skills.

In the pre primary section, lessons are imparted through the Playway technique with emphasis on all round development to ensure scientific outlook and fertile imagination. Lessons are thematically planned and the teaching methodology followed is ‘learning by doing’ method where all subjects are interrelated with project work and help children learn with joy. Personality development is also emphasised at this stage.

In the senior section, teachers stress on ‘in-depth knowledge’ of the subject and students are frequently tested with results being used as a feedback to maintain comprehensive records of student’s progress.

Emphasis is laid on value education and academics along with training students for leadership qualities. They are also encouraged to prepare for competitive examinations.

Admissions are subject to vacancies and are made on the basis performance in the entrance examination/interview.

The minimum age for admission to nursery is 3 years.

Achievement

Aravali International School, Sector 43, Faridabad has bagged several tournaments in football, table tennis, swimming and athletics. The school has also achieved various milestones in academics with its students performing exceptionally well in the class X board exams.
