Overview

Founded in 1994, Army Public School, Kunraghat, Gorakhpur is an English medium coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school imparts education from class I through class XII.

Campus

The 11 acre school campus hosts technology enabled smart classes, a well-stocked library, well-equipped science laboratories, an audio visual room and a conference hall.

Admission

Admission to the school is based on performance in the admission test. Priority is given to the children of Defence service personnel.

Preferences for admission:

Children of serving Army personnels, Army war widows.

Children of Army ex-servicemen/DSC.

Children of serving Air Force and Naval Personnel.

Children of retired Air Force and Naval Personnel.

Children of civilians paid out of Defence, Estimates, Para Military Forces, MES, GREF, TA (when embodied).

Grand children of Army Servicemen/Army ex-servicemen.

Other children, Lok Shahayak Sena.

Admission of children of serving Defence personnel coming on transfer from outstation can be made at any time during the year.

Admission of new students to classes I to IX in the school shall be made during the last week of March or first week of April.

Fees – Tuition fee per quarter is as follows:

Class I to V – Rs. 5220/-

Class VI-VIII – Rs. 5220/-

Class XI-XII (Science with IP/CS) – Rs. 5310/-
