Founded in 2014, Ashoka University is a private is a liberal arts and sciences university, located in Sonipat, Haryana. Ashoka University is recognised by the University Grants Commission and has a strength of 2250-plus students on campus, drawn from 30 states and over 243 cities in India and 27 other countries.
The university has a fully residential wifi-enabled campus designed to provide comfortable spaces for learning and socialising inside and out of the classroom. The campus facilities include state of the art classrooms, auditoriums, conference halls, a well stocked library open 24 hours for students along with access to online resources and a state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, a tuck shop and cooperative store to purchase both fresh and prepared foods, and other general provisions.
The university provides an hourly van for transport to and from the Jahangirpuri Metro station for easy travel to New Delhi.

The Young India Fellowship
YIF is a one-year, residential programme for recent college graduates with eight-semesters in liberal arts and sciences curriculum that offer courses in a number of disciplines from literature to economics, from visual communication to group dynamics.

Internet Wi-FiAdmission process includes evaluation of candidates’ consistent academic performance, active engagement outside the curriculum and personal impact in terms of challenges they might have faced and overcome. Shortlisted candidates are called for interview with the university’s admissions team and faculty members.

Ashoka University offers courses of international standards, delivered in collaboration with renowned universities such as the University of Pennsylvania, University of Michigan, University of California, Berkeley, King’s College, London, Carleton College and Sciences Po, Paris. Ashoka’s partner institutions support with curriculum design, setting up of departments, and providing opportunities for faculty exchange and student study-abroad programmes.
The campus hostel is equipped to house 350 students in 175 fully furnished, air-conditioned rooms. There are separate hostels for men and women with multiple lounge spaces, facilities for laundry and fitness. A centrally-located mess hall also offers nutritious meals and snacks four times a day.
The campus also houses medical clinics, staffed with physicians and an ambulance service for students who require immediate healthcare.
