Bai Avabai F Petit (BAFP) Girls’ High School, Bandra West, Mumbai is an all girls day cum residential school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. The school was founded in 1913 with 40 students as a boarding school for Parsee girls with only the primary section. In 1963, the school started accepting day scholars from all communities. Over the years, the school has evolved into a full fledged higher secondary school with classes up to class XII. The school presently boasts approximately 1120 students.
Bai Avabai F Petit (BAFP) Girls’ High School campus is spread across 7 acres of lush green land hosting 14 classes from playschool through class X. There are state-of-the-art primary and secondary school libraries, audiovisual room, well equipped laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology and computer science and a canteen.

Bai Avabai F Petit (BAFP) Girls’ High School boasts an outstanding policy for inclusion of children with special needs. For students having ‘Specific Learning Disability,’ an individualised education program is prepared to address the needs of each student. Students are taught using adaptive aids and specialised remedial techniques and strategies to cope with their learning difficulties.
The counselors focus on teaching children general emotional and mental health principles and help them apply these with self and others. They deal with topics that help in enhancing the children’s personal and social competence.
The boarding section at Bai Avabai F Petit (BAFP) Girls’ High School is restricted to Parsee children. The infrastructure comprises a full- fledged kitchen with two cooks and five helpers to cook nutritious meals for the children on a daily basis, a dining hall that accommodates 250 children, four dorms with a matron-in-charge for each dorm, 24 toilets and 50 shower cubicles, washing machine facility in each dorm and a visiting doctor.
