BMU & KPMG launch specialised management course for BBA and B. Com students

On May 23, Gurgaon based BML Munjal University (BMU), the Hero Group’s not-for-profit university, announced its specialised management course ‘KCAP – KPMG Course for Accounting Professionals’ for its BBA and B. Com (H) students. KCAP aims to equip the students with basics of accounting, Indian accounting standards, practical aspects of accounting and industry specific practices.
It is a mandatory 200 hour course for students pursuing B. Com (H) while it is an optional course for students pursuing BBA. The course is well designed with extremely efficient CAs and senior consultants of KPMG coming together to teach BMU students. The experts deliver professional modules that enhance the hiring prospects of students in industry. The course is meant for students with good analytical skills, a flair for analysing figures and who aspire for intellectually stimulating and challenging professional work.

Located strategically in the National Capital Region, BML Munjal University attracts students from across India. The university has an experience-based learning model which aims at transforming students to become future leaders. Under this model, industry leaders from key companies are part of the faculty, using current real-life case-studies to teach students the nuances of business management. The students also get to work on practical work-problems, expanding their knowledge and experience-base and at the same time making them industry-ready.

At BML Munjal University, students spend upto 45 percent of contact hours learning outside classrooms through labs, projects, research assignments and Practice school (supervised internships). Along with its mentor, Imperial College London, BMU focuses strongly on research and innovation.

In March 2018, BML Munjal University (BMU) launched two new business management courses – MBA in Finance and Investment Banking and BBA in Family Business and Entrepreneurship and specialised B. Tech courses – Computer Science to offer specialisation in Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence; Mechanical Engineering to offer specialisation in Automobile Engineering, Robotics and Automation and Electronics and Communication Engineering to offer specialisation in Embedded Systems and Advanced Telecommunications.
