Founded in 1968, Carmel High School Bengaluru is an English medium coeducational day school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi.

The school campus hosts bright and spacious classrooms, well-stocked library, a well-equipped computer lab, well-equipped laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology, and an exclusive audio-visual room.
The school campus hosts playground and sports arena which can accommodate sports such as volleyball, basketball, throwball, cricket and athletics.
Affiliated with CISCE, the school offers classed from kindergarten through class XII.
Kindergarten – This section includes the Play Home and Lower & Upper Kindergarten, for students of age 3 to 5 years. Students of Kindergarten develop fine motor skills, develop auditory visual discrimination, hand-eye co-ordination, one-to-one correspondence and logical thinking.
Primary & Middle School – This section includes classes I-IV, catering to students in the age group of 6 to 9 years. A wide range of classroom activities is used as stimuli for reading and writing. Children also start using the English and Math Lab from Class I, which helps them to sharpen their analytical skills.
The school also offers state board curriculum at the High School level. The institution is affiliated with the Karnataka State Secondary Education Board (KSSEB), Government of Karnataka and offers the Secondary School Learning Certificate (SSLC) at the end of Class X.

Pre-nursery – Admission to this section is usually considered in the second week of February for the year in consideration.
The candidate should have completed the age of 3 years on or by May 31.
Procedure for registration/admission:
1. The exact dates for registration is announced in the months of December/January.
2. Pre-Application forms are issued and are needed to be submitted by the given date along with a copy of birth certificate.
3. List of selected candidates for final admission will be announced.
4. Selection is strictly followed on the basis of candidate’s age, siblings ifany, studying in the school, minority status, and proximity to the school.

The school prepares students with the knowledge, discipline, and skills required to succeed at the university level and contribute to the multicultural world of the 21st century.
Being a day school, it does not provide accommodation facility.
