“I have watched my daughter Ananya (class XII) transform into a young woman driven by ambition and leadership potential. Placidity is a character trait I believe is essential for her as she steps into her new role. Often misunderstood as mere calmness or passivity, placidity is more than just a peaceful state of mind. It’s the ability to remain unshaken in the face of adversity, respond thoughtfully, and maintain clarity under pressure. In a world that values speed, noise, and urgency, placidity provides quiet strength. In leadership especially, placidity also provides emotional balance. Above all, it is a leadership skill that can shape effective and thoughtful leaders who will shape the world around them” — Dr. Sushila Bangarwa, Manipal Hospital.

“I value the virtues of humility and resilience and I am making every effort to instill them in my son Aarav (class XI). In my opinion, humility is a cornerstone of personal growth and meaningful relationships, and about fostering balanced self-confidence. In today’s pushy world, cultivating humility has become paramount. Modest children are more open to learning, receptive to feedback, more empathetic, better equipped to collaborate with others. and demonstrate greater resilience in the face of challenges. Resilience is not just about enduring hardships but about bouncing back stronger and wiser. Resilient children are better equipped to handle setbacks, manage stress, and maintain a positive outlook” — Anju Pareek, lecturer, SSG Pareek College.

“Punctuality occupies top spot among the many traits that can shape a child’s personality. Respect for punctuality shapes our growth, dictates learning patterns, and determines how people view us. Punctuality teaches us the value of discipline. Students taught to manage time and maintain schedules are more confident and less anxious. From handing in homework to teamwork, punctuality teaches the value of organisation and confidence. It is also a sign of respect. When you reach on time, it sends the message out that other people’s time is equally important. Teachers, friends, and colleagues all value respect. Punctuality generates trust and silently open doors of opportunity in life. A consistent commitment to punctuality establishes a solid foundation” — Nupur Soni, homemaker

“One important trait I want my daughter Gunjan (class XII) to develop is presence of mind. This will help her think clearly to assess any situation and make efficient decisions, This will help her gain confidence and the trust of others. This ability will also help her improve her problem-solving skills. Whether she is in school, playing a sports game, or during an emergency, presence of mind will keep her calm and enable her to behave mindfully. She will patiently listen to others and respond accordingly, helping her form better relationships. Increasing her presence of mind will assist her in managing stressful conditions” — Vidya Jangid, homemaker.
