Overview

Dayanand Anglo Vedic (DAV) Public School, East of Loni Road, Delhi belongs to the DAV Institutions for Educational Enterprise and functions under the aegis of the DAV managing committee.

The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and offers holistic education to help the child grow up as an ideal social individual, well-equipped to face the unexpected challenges of the world.

Campus

The school seeks to provide the right kind of environment for growth and learning and makes available the best infrastructure to the students. The infrastructure consists of well-ventilated and spacious classrooms, sports room, science, maths, and computer labs, multimedia lab and library as well as a vast playground and canteen.

The school has spacious and well-equipped science laboratories that have all the materials needed for various experiments in physics, chemistry and biology. The computer lab is well-furnished with modern systems and the latest software. The library is stocked with encyclopedia, dictionaries, fiction books, course books, magazines and daily newspapers.

Academics

The school is affiliated to the CBSE and follows a system of CCE (Comprehensive Continuous Evaluation) as prescribed. Extracurricular

The students take part in a series of inter-school contests including Cyber Olympiad, Maths Olympiad, Avantika Talent Search Competition and many others, and often win prizes.

The students are divided into four which each compete against each other in round-the-year inter-house competitions and house activities, imbibing in them a spirit of healthy competition. The morning assembly is conducted by the houses, in turns, with one house leading it for two consecutive weeks before the next house takes over.

Students can be part of the Eco Club, IT Club, Fun Club or Literary Club. The school actively participates in the clean Delhi, green Delhi drive.

Sports activities include aerobics, yoga, athletics and track events.
