Dehradun Public School, Sanjay Nagar is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Founded in 1989, Dehradun Public School, Sanjay Nagar is a member of the chain of Dehradun Public Schools spread across Ghaziabad and Muzaffarnagar. Founded by Late Shri Jaiprakash Bansal, the school offers education from nursery through class XII.

The school follows the motto, “From darkness, lead me to light” and its mission is to inculcate in its students a set of spiritual and moral values such as honesty, integrity and good judgment, complement basic skills such as linguistic, mathematical, scientific, artistic, physical and social, nurture an enquiring and discriminating mind and a desire for knowledge and build strong self-esteem and high personal expectation along with tolerance and respect for others.

Campus

Spread over 5 acres, the school campus hosts well equipped labs for physics, chemistry and biology, e-labs and computer labs, separate libraries for junior and senior sections, a book store, a cafeteria, dance halls and music rooms.

The sports infrastructure comprises a 25m x 25m swimming pool, latest technology based table tennis Robot players for students’ practice, a fully operational and well designed shooting range, facilities for billiards, horse riding, lawn tennis, basket ball, cricket, football, skating, volleyball and martial arts and a multi activity room for yoga and aerobics.

Academics

The school follows an integrated approach and the learning process includes use of various interactive activities and a democratic classroom environment to build self-esteem and confidence among students and contribute to their physical, mental, emotional and social development.

The school also conducts regular training workshops and seminars for teachers to help them stay abreast with the latest methodologies. Workshops and symposiums are also conducted for students along with class presentations, assemblies and competitions in math, science, social science, English and Hindi to reinforce love for the subjects, display their talents and learn to work together as team.

Admission

Parents can obtain the registration form from the school’s administrative office on all working days between 8.00 am – 2.00 pm and submit duly filled registration form along with photocopy of report card of last two years and Date of Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation.

The age criteria are as follows:

Nursery – 2.5 years

K.G. – 3+ years

Prep – 4+ years

Class I -5+ years & above.
