The Directorate of Education (DoE), Delhi, has opened the online application window for teacher transfers from 21 June to 4 July. Eligible applicants include postgraduate teachers, trained graduate teachers, and assistant teachers.
Transfers will be prioritised in the following order: teachers with 40% or more disability, those with disabled dependents, individuals with serious medical conditions, and women seeking relocation due to marriage. Surplus teachers and mutual transfer applicants will also be considered.
Only teachers who have completed two years at their current posting by 4 July are eligible. However, those who have served for one year but are posted over 20 km from the nearest school may also apply. Exceptions will be made for medical, post-marriage, or disability-related cases.
Applicants must upload self-attested documents online, as hard copies will not be accepted. The DoE warned that any misinformation would lead to disciplinary action under Central Civil Services rules.
Promoted postgraduate teachers in computer science must apply or face compulsory transfer. The process excludes guest, vocational, and contract teachers.
