Delhi Public School (DPS), Agra is an English medium coeducational school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. It is a franchisee institution of the well-known Delhi Public Schools Society which has a network of 150 schools countrywide.
The mission of DPS Agra is to deliver holistic and world-class education to children from nursery to class XII. The school boasts excellent board results and has incorporated contemporary teaching-learning methodologies.
DPS, Agra hosts separate junior and senior campuses. The junior campus in Poiya Ghat Road comprises a spacious and colourful building and houses classes from nursery to class III. In classes I to III, each section has maximum student strength of 36. In nursery, the maximum is 25 children per class, while in kindergarten, the strength of students in each class is 32.
The senior campus at Shastripuram houses classes IV-XII. The campus is designed around a central resource centre incorporating Smart Classes, science lab,humanities lab, maths lab, language lab,computer lab and a library.
Other facilities include activity rooms, audio visual room, music rooms, art and craft room and dance room.
DPS, Agra offers a state-of-the-art sports complex with facilities for swimming, cricket, basket ball, badminton, hockey, football, volleyball and various athletic disciplines. An indoor games block offers facilities for table tennis, yoga, gymnastics, and taekwondo.
The school also provides transportation facility.
DPS, Agra is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and offers nursery to class XII education. In class XI-XII a choice of three streams is offered – science, humanities and commerce.

Extra-curricular activities:
Co-curricular activities include music (both instrumental and vocal), dance, swimming, art and craft, taekwando, skating etc. To facilitate these activities, there is a separate activity block comprising of activity rooms, audio visual room, music rooms, art and craft room and dance room. A swimming pool, huge open area, sports complex are other attractions.

Registration and Admission for classes Nursery and Preparatory-
Admission to classes nursery (2.5 years) and preparatory (4 years) sections is granted on the basis of registration forms. The registration form should be submitted to the school office on or before the last date of submission. No observation/ interaction of the child or parents will be required at this stage.
Steps for Registration and Admission for Class I onwards-
1. Admission to Classes I to IX and XI is subject to availability of seats and clearing the written test and interview.
2. The registration form, duly filled in all respect, should be submitted to the school office on or before the last date of submission for registration forms.
3. After scrutinizing the registration forms the parents will be informed about a written test date for their ward / wards.
4. The written test will be followed by an interaction session preferably on the same day or one day later. Both the parents must be present in the school campus on the day of the test and interaction. If written test and interaction is held on the same day then there may be a gap of an hour or so between the two. The entire procedure may last upto three hours, and hence, parents are advised to plan their schedules accordingly.
5. Parents must bring both the copies of admit card attached in this brochure to the school on the written test and interaction day/days.
6. List of successful candidates will be displayed in the City Administrative Office within a day after the written test and interaction process is over. Parents will also be informed over the telephone/sms.
The parents of the successful candidates will be required to complete the admission formalities by depositing the required fee and other charges along with the submission of necessary documents within the date prescribed.
