Overview

In line with the Delhi Public School (DPS) philosophy, DPS South Bangalore focuses on imparting quality education to prepare students to be active players in a lifelong learning process. Campus

The school campus is secured by multitude of cameras located at strategic nooks and corners. The CCTV network spans beyond the concrete infrastructure into the sports fields, the pavilion, the swimming pool area and even the parking area for the school buses.

There are three computer labs, for the exclusive use of the primary, middle and senior school students.

The school cafetaria provides hygienic food which is not only appealing to the taste buds but also nutritious. The well equipped health clinic provides medical attention to students as and when required. A qualified doctor assisted by two trained nurses is on duty throughout school hours on all working days providing the healing touch. A state-of–the-art ambulance is always on stand by for any medical emergency that may arise.

The well-stocked senior school library houses over 1000 titles catering to the literary taste buds of students from all classes. Periodicals and journals keep students well informed about emerging and contemporary trends, the reservoir of fiction serves as a means of relaxation, while the vast repertoire of encyclopedias and other reference books provides food for thought in sedate surroundings.

The school houses state-of-the-art science labs fully equipped with latest equipments. Two sets of labs catering to each of the three branches of Science provide ample scope to the students of the middle and senior school to experiment and nurture their spirit of inquiry.

The school also provides transportation facilities to ferry the students to and from home.

Admission

Dates for admission to Nursery, LKG and UKG are intimated after the issue of applications.

Students seeking admission for classes IX to XII will have a written evaluation and admission will depend on the child’s performance in the test, availability of vacancies in the class concerned and general proficiency of the child.

Only those who qualify will be called for an interview during which presence of both the parents is essential. Please contact the school office to obtain more information on the admission process and for information on the fee structure.

Accommodation

Being a day school, DPS South Bangalore does not provide hostel facility.
