The vision of the school is set out as ‘A Broader Mindset For A Brighter Tomorrow’. The mission of the school is ‘Learning More By Teaching Less’ as it endeavours to take learning beyond the confines of classrooms to activity workshops, resource centres, laboratories and library. Delhi World Foundation adheres to the National Curriculum Framework (NCF 2005) and the CBSE curriculum. The Foundation believes that the classroom experiences of children are to be organised in a manner that permits them to construct knowledge in consonance with the child’s nature and context, thus providing equal learning opportunities to all children.

DWPS Ajmer offers a learner-centred curriculum drawn from five major pedagogical approaches – constructivist, collaborative, integrative, reflective and inquiry-based learning. 50 days are annually spent on teachers’ training, and the team of highly trained and qualified teachers impart individual & personalized attention to students. The school’s experiential learning model shifts away from rote methods as it encourages feedback, inquiry, class discussions, collaborative project work and group learning. Examinations are made more flexible and integrated with classroom life. The educational programmes provide opportunities for students to develop a sense of equality and compassion and link learned knowledge to practical world experiences so as to prepare them for real world challenges.

The curriculum is created to go beyond textbook learning following the ‘teach less to learn more’ philosophy. The curriculum provides a rich variety of co-curricular activities to produce confident and well-rounded students. There are over 18 activities and sports offered by the school, including Indian & Western dance, Indian & Western vocal and instrumental music, speech & drama, literary activities, exploratory clubs, swimming, art & craft, cricket, football, table tennis, lawn tennis, horse riding, skating, karate, basketball and squash.
