Overview

Founded in 1971 by M. Dasgupta, Dolna Creche is sited at Kasba locality of Kolkata. Dolna Creche is the first of its kind in Kolkata, providing safe care for children of working parents from 3 months to 16 years. It provides preschool program for children of 2.5 to 5 years. Dolna Creche and Dolna Day School are run by a non-profit making organization called Dolna Day School Trust. The school provides ‘a home away from home,’ where children learn and develop intellectually, emotionally and physically.

Campus

All the classrooms of Dolna Creche are spacious and well-ventilated. The school hosts a computer room, AV room, art & craft room and a library. The indoor play area is equipped with a variety of colorful, child-friendly toys and equipment.

Academics

The preschool offers playgroup, lower nursery, upper nursery and preparatory programs. It offers a curriculum designed to bring out the best in every child and offers a range of activities that help develop all the faculties of the child.

Extracurriculars

Children get the opportunity to spend their free time fruitfully beyond school hours by engaging in a variety of extracurricular classes. The activities encourage the children to build confidence as they learn and use different skills.
