Overview

Founded in 1980, Don Bosco School at Alaknanda in New Delhi is a boys’ only day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. It is run by Salesians of Don Bosco which boasts a network of educational institutions in over 130 countries. The school aims to make students good human beings and worthy citizens of the country.

There is a strong focus on academics and co-curricular activities. A wide range of extra curricular activities are provided including experience of organizing and participating in inter-school tournments and competitions.

In Don Bosco students are encouraged to respect the rights of others, to take responsibility for their actions and behaviour and be self-disciplined. The school motto is “Ever More And Better Ever”.

Campus

The school hosts an AV room, three well equipped science labs, a well resourced library, three computer labs for students, one computer lab for teachers and a spacious playground.

Don Bosco High School is affiliated with the CBSE board and offers education from Kindergarten to class XII.

Extracurricular Activities: The school promotes a host of extracurricular activities including drama, singing, dancing, quizzes and debates. Sports activities include football, basketball, badminton and table tennis.

General Information

Admission

Don Bosco School normally takes in students at the Kindergarten level only. Admission to other classes usually takes place in the month of March, depending on vacancies available. Selected candidates for admission to any class should fill in the application form with the right details and no subsequent changes will be permitted.
