DPS Mewat Model School, Nuh Colony, Gurgaon is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school offers residential facility to girls. It was established in 1982 by the Mewat Development Agency, Government of Haryana, with an objective to promote quality education in the Mewat Area.
The school received CBSE affiliation in 1986 and the school’s first batch of class X students appeared in for the CBSE board exam in 1988. The school boasts 1872 students from nursery through class XII.

The DPS Mewat Model School, Nuh Colony, is regarded as a school that provides quality education, and provides free boarding and lodging to further support and aid girls’ education in Mewat.
The Mewat Development Agency has set up a girls’ hostel which provides free meals, boarding and lodging for the upliftment of girls in Mewat. The hostel houses 48 rooms which accommodate about 192 girls with four girls in each room. Each room is furnished with a bed, study table, chair and cabinet for each girl student.
The hostel facilities include a library, common room with television, dispensary, store room and a spacious and well-equipped dining room. The hostel also provides after school coaching in math, English and science by appointing additional teachers. This project has been started to promote and encourage education for the girl child in Mewat.
