Dungeons and Dragons quest

Dungeons and Dragons quest this Sunday in Bangalore!

November 28, 2019

Dungeons and Dragons – a role-playing game format that was introduced around the 1970s is quickly regaining popularity thanks to shows like Stranger Things. For those who are hearing this for the first time, D&D is a table top game that allows players to create characters of their own and go on a quest together, narrated by the Dungeon Master (DM). Moves are dictated by powers and dice rolls, quests are completed and monsters are battled in this award-winning format. Given its resurgence in popular culture, D&D has found its way in Bangalore, although the common struggle has been “Who do I D&D with?”, “Who can be the DM?”.

ReRoll Bangalore – the city’s first and most popular board gaming collective is currently in it’s third year of weekly events across HSR Layout and Indiranagar. Keen on furthering Bangalore’s D&D interest, ReRoll is hosting a whole day of this 40 year old game at this Sunday, December 01, at Watson’s Indiranagar, from 11 AM to 7 PM.

Collectives like ReRoll Bangalore have attracted well over 2500 people this year alone through their weekly events, introducing people to over 200 board games – some of the popular ones being Avalon, Tsuro, Sagrada and Codenames! Apart from weekly events and D&D sessions, ReRoll livestreams games and provides a community of board gamers for newly introduced games to be tested – such as Shasn and Blackpool.

Try your hand at battling dragons, robbing art or dominating an empire this Sunday.

We can’t wait to see you there. For more information please contact: Karthik Balakrishnan (Founder, ReRoll BLR) on 97905 32594.
